The project consisted of major modifications to the sewer lift station at Chenango and Elmira Streets in Greenwood Village, Colorado. The lift station ran through a busy street in a residential neighborhood. Safety, traffic control, noise mitigation, and time management were all handled with extreme caution. Velocity performed the following: Installation of new underground piping system tied into the existing sewer force main, installation of new submersible pumps, installation of new precast valve vault and addition of a new precast overflow vault.
